Q: What studio equipment dose Big Noise customize?
A: We can customize most drum machines, samplers and controllers. Including units from Akai, Emu, Ensoniq, Roland, Nord, DMX, Roger Linn, Sequential Circuits, Yamaha... Contact us for details.
Q: What shipping options do you provide?
A: Our default shipping is done via United States Postal Service (USPS); Priority, Parcel, First Class and International Express. We use USPS tracking numbers to monitor your shipment/s. We provide USPS shipping insurance for items valued over $250. Upon customer request we can also ship via UPS, FedEx or Freight.
Q: How long will it take to ship my order?
A: Most items are shipped within 1 to 3 business days. Some products have longer handling times due to logistics, customization or fabrication; please see the "Handling" time at the bottom of each product description.
Q: How do I return my item?
A: As long as you are within the 14 Day return period all you have to do is package the product as it was shipped and send it back to Big Noise MPC. Please place a note in the package with name and contact info stating RMA.
Q: Dose Big Noise MPC stand behind all their products?
A: Yes most products are covered by a 14 day return policy. We will also support products without a return policy on a case by case basis. Contact us and a real person will help you with any concerns.
Q: What products are not covered by the 14 day return policy?
A: Items like media, paint, markers, books, records, slip-mats, CD's and digital downloads are not covered by our return policy. However if there any problems with these products we will handle them on a case by case basis.
Q: Is the Big Noise MPC website secure?
A: Yes checkout and login pages are protected by 256 bit SSL encryption. Each transaction is covered up to $50K. Transactions are further covered by PayPal if that payment option is used.
Q: Do you ship aerosol paint cans?
A: Yes we can ship aerosol paint cans anywhere in the USA that can be reached by USPS ground shipping. Aerosol paint can NOT be shipped via air-mail without a hazardous material certification (very expensive).
Q: Do your MPC media card readers support Akai OS 1.14 and 1.20?
A: Yes; when you format your media with OS version 1.20 you'll be able to move files between your PC and your MPC (using Win XP), however this Akai OS version will only recognize 1048MB (1.05GB) of memory on your media card or drive. If you format your media with MPC OS 1.14 you’ll be able to partition the media and take full advantage of all the memory space on your media - i.e. a 2GB media card could be partitioned into four 500MB partitions.
